Students' research to be highlighted at annual symposium

The event is Wednesday, April 15.

Concordia College will host the 2026 URSCA Symposium — also known as the Celebration of Student Scholars (COSS) — on Wednesday, April 15. Now in its 17th year, this annual spring tradition highlights the depth and breadth of undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity across campus.

Students will share their work through poster sessions, art exhibitions, and concurrent sessions, alongside department and program showcases. The day also includes awards, prizes, and other activities celebrating student achievement.

Events begin at 8 a.m., and friends, family, and community members are welcome to attend.

URSCA, an acronym for Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity, represents Concordia’s commitment to hands-on, mentored learning across disciplines. From lab research and fieldwork to musical composition and visual art, these experiences empower students to explore original ideas, ask meaningful questions, and engage deeply in their academic journeys.
