LORENTZSEN CENTER LUNCHEON

The Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work, part of the Concordia College Offutt School of Business, will hold a luncheon “Leadership & Transitions.” The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, April 12, at Barry Auditorium, Concordia College. The speakers are Paul Richard and Lauris Molbert.

Richard and Molbert will share their experiences exiting from productive careers and the values that guide their decisions as they design their “post-retirement” leadership engagements.

Richard began his career at St. Luke’s Hospital (later MeritCare and now Sanford) and practiced law for 20 years before being appointed general counsel of MeritCare in 1998. He was named chief legal officer after the Sanford merger and finally executive vice president, the position from which he retired.

Molbert is executive chair and member of Investment Committee of Kilbourne Group. He previously served as CEO and chair of TMI Hospitality Inc., and also as COO and executive vice president of Otter Tail Corporation. He’s a licensed attorney and certified public accountant.

The cost for the luncheon is $25 per person. Please RSVP by Friday, April 5, online at ConcordiaCollege.edu/businessevents or by calling (218) 299-3305.

The Lorentzsen Center honors the life and work of Norman M. Lorentzsen. He was an esteemed philanthropist, former CEO of Burlington Northern, alumnus of Concordia and former member and chair of its Board of Regents. The center identifies and sustains ethical values and practices in individuals and organizations. It builds on the tradition and practices of the Center for Ethical Leadership.
