LORENTZSEN CENTER LUNCHEON
The Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work, part of the Concordia College Offutt School of Business, will hold an upcoming luncheon “The Leadership Journey of An Unlikely Coder Turned Social Entrepreneur.” The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Barry Auditorium, Concordia College. The speaker is Betty Gronneberg, founder and executive director of uCodeGirl.
The nonprofit organization, uCodeGirl, creates a pathway to technology careers for teen girls by tapping into their curiosity, skills and potential. Gronneberg has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry, most recently as a software engineering manager directing a broad range of projects and initiatives.

The Lorentzsen Center honors the life and work of Norman M. Lorentzsen. He was an esteemed philanthropist, former CEO of Burlington Northern, alumnus of Concordia and former member and chair of its Board of Regents. The center identifies and sustains ethical values and practices in individuals and organizations. It builds on the tradition and practices of the Center for Ethical Leadership.
