LORENTZSEN CENTER LUNCHEON
The Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work, part of the Concordia College Offutt School of Business, will hold an upcoming luncheon “Bringing Faith to Work: Lutheran and Catholic Perspectives.” The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at Barry Auditorium, Concordia College. The speakers are the Rev. Dr. Lawrence Wohlrabe and the Rev. John Folda.
Wohlrabe was elected bishop of the Northwestern Minnesota Synod of the ELCA in 2007. He graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato, and Luther Seminary, St. Paul. Ordained in 1981, he served congregations in Willmar, St. James and Moorhead, Minn. He was also on the staff of Luther Seminary and the SW MN Synod ELCA, Redwood Falls, Minn.
Folda is currently bishop of Fargo, N.D. He was ordained a Catholic priest in 1989 in Lincoln, Neb. Folda attended St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia and went on to the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome. He previously served the Lincoln diocese and as rector of St. Gregory the Great Seminary.

The Lorentzsen Center honors the life and work of Norman M. Lorentzsen. He was an esteemed philanthropist, former CEO of Burlington Northern, alumnus of Concordia and former member and chair of its Board of Regents. The center identifies and sustains ethical values and practices in individuals and organizations. It builds on the tradition and practices of the Center for Ethical Leadership.
