Honoring the veterans of World War II, Memorial Auditorium features two-full sized basketball courts, lower level locker rooms, a weight lifting room, athletic training and laundry facilities.

Providing a unique indoor arena space for the Fargo-Moorhead community, Memorial offers permanent seating for 1,800 fans and with bleachers, can hold more than 6,000 fans. Memorial is home to the men's and women's basketball teams, volleyball and wrestling teams.

History

Completed in 1952, the first basketball game was held on Dec. 2, 1952 with a crowd of 5,500 who watched the Cobber men's team defeat former cross-town rivals, the North Dakota State University Bison, 69-59.

Memorial's versatility has continually been upgraded through the years to answer future needs. Memorial Auditorium is also home to the annual Concordia Christmas Concert, which brings in thousands of spectators each December.
