Home to varsity men's and women's basketball practice, volleyball practice, indoor track season, and more pre-season sports activities, Olson Forum opened in 1994 as a multifunction athletic complex for intramural and varsity use.

Hosting a variety of summer camps in the school's offseason, along with intramurals throughout the academic year, Olson Forum is often buzzing with activity. Set 12 feet below ground level, the tracks and courts are even with the lower levels of Memorial Auditorium. With a surrounding upper balcony offering exercise equipment to all students, staff, and faculty, Olson Forum is complete as the fitness solution for all.

History

The facility honors the vision of Earl and Dorothy Olson of Willmar, Minnesota, for their landmark $5 million gift to help fund its construction. The Olson Forum is connected to Memorial Auditorium via the Offutt Concourse.

The connecting Offutt Concourse, named for longtime regent Ronald Offutt of Moorhead, includes classrooms, the Cobber Athletic Hall of Fame gallery, recognition of Concordia Alumni Achievement Award winners, a ticket booth, and the Birkeland Alumni Lounge.
