Art Exhibit "Food Matters"

Cyrus M. Running Gallery
Sunday, Aug. 23–Wednesday, Sept. 23

Concordia College invites artists to submit works that exemplify the theme of food and diversity in any interpretation, representational, abstract, or conceptual. Join us at the table to explore "Food for Good," the 2020 topic for the Faith, Reason, and World Affairs symposium.

The juror for this show will be Jonathan Rutter, the executive director and curator of The Rourke Art Gallery + Museum in Moorhead. He has worked as a gallerist at both The Rourke and commercial galleries for more than 15 years. Rutter received his Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art with an emphasis in painting from Minnesota State University Moorhead and his Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. He maintains an active studio practice as a painter and lives with his wife, Cady, in Moorhead.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year's gallery receptions will be closed to the public, but alumni and friends can schedule private viewings of the work. If you would like to visit the gallery, please call 218.299.4623.
