A.I. and Entrepreneurship Day 2026
AI: Scary, Amazing, or Something you get to shape?
Concordia College's Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership is hosting a hands-on day for high school students who are curious about AI and what it means for their future.
Students will explore why AI feels so big and unknown, and why the best way to understand it is to get in the water rather than watch from the shore.
They’ll practice “getting in” with a team-based problem-solving activity.
Teams will join a track* (Health & Wellness, Business & Marketing, Arts & Creativity, or Science and Technology) and will work with Concordia student ambassadors to tackle a real problem three ways: with AI, without AI, and together, using their own voice and passion.
Teams will build a solution then show their work at a poster session where they’ll vote on their favorites.
Students will leave more confident in:
- Their own voice
- Creating with AI authentically
- Solving problems better without losing what makes their ideas human.
Each participant will receive lunch in Concordia’s Anderson Commons cafeteria and a chance to win a door prize.
AI and Entrepreneurship Day is a day to get curious, get creative, and discover that the future of AI is shaped by the people who show up to shape it.
