"I have always loved doing art of any kind. I picked it up again — this time focusing on embroidery. After making a few items for myself and my friends, I was encouraged to start selling my work. I was hesitant at first because I had no idea what I was doing or if anyone would even want to buy my items. Concordia’s supportive faculty helped me build the confidence to achieve my dreams. I have a holiday pop-up shop that I am excited about and have been asked to sell my clothing in a few more boutiques in the near future." — Emily Graupmann ’23
