During fall and spring semesters, Concordia students can spend their weeklong interim traveling with other students. Breakaway opportunities range from traditional classroom settings to PEAK experiences.

The connection you form with people – I do not have the words. You’re all in this little space for a week, and it’s almost like ‘how were you not in my life before?’ The places you see, the things you do, are so separate from Concordia. My favorite memories at Concordia have been my Breakaway trips. You never know the connections that form out of that, where it could lead.
If you want a more short-term study away experience, Exploration opportunities are a great choice. They range from a week to a couple of weeks long and go all over the world.
