Gold Scholarship for Transfer Students
Our alumni are called to live out Concordia’s mission of positively influencing the affairs of the world.
The National Alumni Board Gold Scholarship, valued at $25,000, was created in 2020 to recognize students who have the potential to impact the communities in which they live, work, and lead — in college and beyond. This award replaces all other Concordia scholarships and gift assistance.
Application Process
One Fall 2023 transfer student will be awarded the Gold Scholarship. Applications are due Wednesday, March 29, 2023 (extended!)
Application Criteria
Applicants must have a 3.5 cumulative college GPA and must be accepted at Concordia College for the Fall 2023 term prior to applying.
High school academics may be taken into consideration if a student has completed less than two semesters of college work after high school.
Timeline
Phase I: Application Form and Video Submission
Wednesday, March 29: Application deadline for online form and video link submission.
Your video should explain how you have positively impacted your community and how you anticipate influencing the world as a college student and after graduation. Please use an accessible platform and provide a link to your video on your application. Your video should be 3-5 minutes in length.
Tuesday, April 4: Notification of semifinalist status & invitation to interview
Phase II: Interview
Early-mid April: Semifinalist interviews will take place (on campus or via zoom).
