Sponsored by the National Alumni Board, this $25,000 annual scholarship is Concordia's most prestigious academic award for Fall 2021 applicants. Students should have a cumulative 3.5 GPA or higher to apply.
Deadline: March 15
Concordia offers transfer student scholarships based on your college GPA. High school information is required for students seeking federal and state aid and is a factor in your scholarship decision if you have completed less than two semesters of college. For Fall 2021, transfer students will be eligible for $3,000-$7,000 in automatic merit scholarship awards. Simply apply for admission; no separate application needed.
Starting in Fall 2021, Concordia's $1,000 Diversity Scholarship is available to admitted transfer underrepresented students with financial need. This scholarship can be stacked on top of Excellence and BREW scholarships.
Based on the concept of BREW (Becoming Responsibly Engaged in the World), a foundational component of the Concordia experience, this scholarship recognizes not only what students have accomplished prior to becoming a Cobber but also what they hope to achieve at Concordia and in the future. These awards are open to all admitted students for Fall 2021.
Concordia is widely known for its excellent programs in music, theatre, visual arts, and speech. Scholarships are available to transfer students interested in participating in any of these areas. These scholarships range in value and require separate applications and, in some cases, performance submissions, by a specific deadline determined by each department. Students selected to receive these awards will be expected to participate in events and programs as determined by the respective departments.
Deadline: Jan. 1
Phi Theta Kappa
In recognition of your collegiate academic achievements and participation in the Phi Theta Kappa honors program at your community college, this $1,000 annual scholarship is offered in addition to your Transfer Excellence Scholarship from Concordia College. Please indicate on your scholarship application that you are a member of PTK.
Concordia Congregational Scholarships are available to students from congregations who have been accepted for admission and who will be enrolled on at least a half-time basis. Receiving a congregational scholarship will not result in the loss of any gift assistance.
