Each November, members of the junior class eagerly await the arrival of the rings.

Camping out at the Cobber Bookstore was a traditional rite of passage for Concordia students. Now, the Alumni Office hosts a Cobber Ring Day celebration upon the arrival of the rings, offering snacks, a photo booth, an appearance by Kernel, and a festive atmosphere to add to the excitement.

Dating back nearly a century, the Cobber ring's popularity is not just legend. Concordia is second only to the U.S. Military Service academies in percentage of graduates purchasing class rings. More than wearing it, Cobbers cherish it.
