Concordia hosts Entrepreneurship and Sports Day

Concordia College’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership recently hosted an inspiring Entrepreneurship and Sports Day designed to introduce high school students to the world of innovation, athletics, leadership, and business creation.

The event brought together ambitious learners from a variety of local schools for a full day of hands-on activities, workshops, and mentorship opportunities led by Concordia faculty, student entrepreneurs, and industry professionals.

Entrepreneurship Program Director and Assistant Professor Heather McDougall, J.D., and President Colin Irvine welcomed students to campus with an engaging opening session that encouraged them to approach the day with curiosity, openness, and — of course — to have fun.

Throughout the event, students heard from dynamic speakers and participated in interactive workshops that highlighted the connection between sports and creativity.

By the end of the day, students left feeling inspired to be entrepreneurial in whatever path or passion they choose to pursue.
