Concordia to celebrate 2026 Commencement May 3

Concordia College will celebrate its 2026 Commencement at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 3, in Memorial Auditorium, honoring 447 graduates.

A total of 403 undergraduate and 44 graduate students will receive degrees. This year marks a milestone for two programs celebrating their first graduating classes: the Master of Science in Business Analytics and the Master of Social Work.

The Commencement address will be delivered by Dr. Lisa Twomey, Concordia’s director of community engagement and integrative learning and an associate professor of Spanish. Known for her commitment to experiential learning and global engagement, Twomey has played a key role in connecting classroom learning with community-based experiences.

Student remarks will be given by Caroline Becker ’20, representing the graduating class.

The Commencement ceremony will be streamed live at ConcordiaCollege.edu/Streaming.

In addition to the main ceremony, Concordia will host a hooding ceremony for graduate students at 11:15 a.m. in the Centrum of the Knutson Campus Center. That will also be livestreamed.
