Accelerated Master of Science in Business Analytics
Accelerated 4+1 Master of Science in Business Analytics
With Concordia’s Accelerated Master of Science in Business Analytics (4+1 MSBA), students will earn a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Science degree in just five years instead of the traditional six or more.
How a 4+1 works
Students will take undergraduate courses in their declared major (currently open to business management, general accounting, or finance majors) during their first four years. They will take four graduate classes during their fourth year, with these credits also counting toward their undergraduate degree. Students will complete the remaining graduate courses online during the summer and the following year (year five).
Note: Due to the rigor of the accelerated program (as it combines both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree), it may not be advised to pair with a second major. Please discuss this with your academic advisor or the program director.
Why choose a 4+1 MSBA?
The accelerated 4+1 MSBA will also save you time and money versus a traditional graduate school path.
-
Save Time — Earn two degrees in five years by taking graduate courses during your senior year that count for both, saving time and streamlining your studies.
-
Save Money — Lower overall tuition by paying undergraduate rates for graduate courses during your senior year.
-
Boost Your Career Potential — Graduating with a master’s degree gives you a competitive edge for advanced roles, leadership paths, and potential for elevated compensation rates.
While pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics, students will be exposed to real-world experiences, enhancing their career potential by building on their undergraduate degrees with the following specialized topics:
- Utilize quantitative methods and analytical tools to make informed, data-driven decisions across various business functions.
- Strategies to integrate financial knowledge, global management, and risk management practices to address challenges in supply chains and organizational performance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to best deliver impactful business recommendations that drive growth, sustainability, and return on investment.
