Bree Langemo, J.D., is the executive director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (The CEL) and an associate professor of law and entrepreneurship at Concordia College, leading entrepreneurial efforts across the campus and the community. In her role, she leads the engagement strategy for The CEL by curating the events, engaging student clubs, and drawing connections between the campus and community. In 2025, Langemo was selected as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of North Dakota by Women We Admire.
She helped launch and grow the entrepreneurial mindset certificate and entrepreneurship minor to complement any major at Concordia. Since the launch of the program, she has helped generate entrepreneurial activity on campus by supporting the creation of the Entrepreneurship Club, Entrepreneurship Day, the Cobber Takeover Day at StartupBREW Fargo, and the Cobbertunity Fund.
Langemo has conducted speaking engagements across the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada, and South Africa. Locally, she conducts keynotes and workshops for corporate and community leaders. She authored a book chapter on “Leading with an Entrepreneurial Mindset” and an ABA article on “Transforming the Legal Profession Through Technology and Entrepreneurship.” She has been featured in the Huffington Post, profiled in the book “The Secret to Transformational Leadership,” featured on a blog about “Planting Seeds of Entrepreneurial Thinking,” and interviewed for the Whittaker Report Podcast on the topic of “The Future of Work is Entrepreneurial.”
She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a Juris Doctor degree from Ohio Northern University. In addition to working as an accountant and an attorney, she spent more than a decade as a faculty member, chair, and dean in higher education before leaving for the private sector as president of the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative (ELI), a global entrepreneurship education company. In her free time, Langemo enjoys reading books, hiking in the great outdoors, practicing yoga, traveling to new places, and exploring good food. She also loves spending time with her dog, Marley, her son, Zeke, and her life partner, Joe, who serves as the CEO of the Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation.
