Concordia starts the 2019-20 academic year with opening convocation at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 29, in Memorial Auditorium.

Concordia College’s art exhibition “Once and Always Here: Recent Work from Graduate Students and Faculty in Ceramics at the University of Iowa” opens Sunday, Aug. 25, on Move-In Day for new and returning students.

First-year and transfer students at Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., will participate in the 26th annual Hands for Change outreach event on Monday, Aug. 26, during new student orientation week.

Seniors from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., Toby Kindem, Alexandra Rankin and Hannah Allen have received Fulbright awards, and McKayle Carter was named an alternate.

Colum McCann, artist, author, educator and social activist, will speak at the commencement ceremony at Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 5.
