Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

The COVID response group has reviewed data that are key indicators of the college’s risk level. This includes the number of positive cases on campus, available quarantine and isolation space, and community transmission rates.

Based on a downward trend, the college is moving from medium to low risk. This move allows for a return to more in-person activities and meetings and a change to our mask policy.

Masks will still be required in classrooms, laboratories, and studios as well as public spaces where distancing cannot be maintained. This means masks should still be worn where there is a high density of people such as when getting food in Anderson Commons; being a spectator at events, including athletic events; and using crowded hallways. Finally, while not required, we do encourage mask use broadly in all public spaces and at meetings that do not allow for distancing.

If you are planning a campus activity, please refer to the event planning guidance.

We appreciate your cooperation with the stricter policies as we managed a spike in cases at the beginning of this semester.

BOOSTER SHOT/VACCINE CLINIC
