Fall COVID Testing Update

Students:  

It’s only mid-July, but we wanted to share some updates about Fall Semester.   

Return to Campus Testing  

In a previous communication, we shared that by July 15 we would announce any potential testing requirement for returning to campus for Fall Semester.   

  • At this point, we are not requiring students to test prior to returning to campus.   
  • However, all students (regardless of vaccination status) are highly encouraged to test before returning.  
Vaccination Requirement  

A reminder that the college is following the Minnesota Department of Health and the CDC’s recommendations for vaccinations being one of the most effective tools for promoting individual and community health.   

  • All students are required to be up to date with their COVID vaccinations by the 10th day of classes (or receive an exemption). If you haven’t yet submitted your updated vaccination info, you can use the COVID Vaccination Form. (Incoming students should use the paper form that was mailed home).  
  • An on-campus vaccine clinic is being planned for the end of August. We will notify you when it is scheduled.  
  • Use this form to apply for a vaccine exemption.

By August 1, our COVID Response website will be updated for Fall 2022 and you’ll receive an email so you know where to find this information.
